Our mission is to prepare students for life in this world and for eternal life in heaven.
Our Philosophy
Seven Anchorage Seventh-day Adventist Churches and the Alaska Conference of Seventh-day Adventist sponsor Anchorage Junior Academy. It was established to guide young people in developing a meaningful relationship with God, preparing them for life and the world to come. This training experience, from the Seventh-day Adventist perspective, can best be accomplished by the cooperative effort of a Christ-centered home, church and school.
Our Accreditation
Anchorage Junior Academy is accredited by the North American Division Commission on Education, Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (NAAS), and National council of Private Schools Accreditation. Our school is recognized for promoting and maintaining a well-balanced education program and for meeting or exceeding standards considered essential for quality education.
